Polychuck is the brainchild band from Thomas “Polychuck” and Philipe Landry “Landryx”, two of the most technically advanced instrumentalists, songwriters and producers of their canadian hometown of Montreal. With roots firmly planted in their local scene, the band repeatedly creates a huge impact every time they venture out of the city, notably at the Prog music festival TERRA INCOGNITA in Quebec City. The project has sincerely embraced a wide variety of genres ranging from Progressive Metal to Alternative Inde rock with ventures in Jazz Fusion and Mathcore. For fans of bands like Porcupine Tree , The Pineapple Thief , Dream Theater , and Opeth , Polychuck is a band that intertwines deep, intelligent music with more accessible melodies. The band aims to take their music to a whole new level and leave an undeniable, lasting legacy of his own in the realm of Progressive & Alternative Rock. They have also collaborated with Derek Sherinian, Seas on the Moon & Justus Hajas and are currently working on the release of an album that will capture the overall essence of Polychuck.
