Lance King is a powerful songwriting vocalist with an innovative style blending melodic progressive metal and philosophical knowledge into a new genre he calls 'Celestial Metal'. Freely mixing rock and metal influences. His latest release, ReProgram, was released on March 29th, 2019 and those close to Lance feel it’s the best work he’s ever done. King is best-known to metal fans as the owner US-based metal label Nightmare Records and for singing with Danish/American Power Prog Metal band PYRAMAZE from 2003 to 2007. He was also part of the British/American Prog Power band BALANCE OF POWER from 1997 to 2003 and the American Hair/Prog Power Metal band GEMINI from 1985 to 1993. Also singing with other bands he's sing on over 30 hours of released music to date. Lyrically, King deals with themes including societal ills, inner turmoil, the balance of duality, personal power, the law of attraction, the celestial nature of self-awareness, age-old battles of right and wrong, and the subjective nature of truth. He dives further into the human psyche than any rock performer in recent memory and this intellectual yet soul-centered approach sets him apart from his peers. Lance is a devotee who gave his life to music a long time ago with no regrets!
