Two to three years in the making, Life in Reverse (23rd October 2020) is a positive, upbeat chronicle of navigating the uncertainty, and difficulties in adult life and relationships. With influences both from within music, but also in the real world, Life in Reverse captures moments in everyday life. Each song is a snapshot in time, a nostalgic sketch of a feeling or scene. The album warmly celebrates inspiration from differences in people, and places, with their infinite possibilities, and newfound opportunities both can bring. Life in Reverse is the fuzzy landmark of music that both uniquely connects two friends together, but also provides an underlying constant to their friendship, and relationships with others in the world. Treasureseason’s previous work has been lauded by critics across radio, press, influencers, and brands. The band have gained international recognition and collaborations with Urban Outfitters, BIRP! records, and Vinyl Me Please, as well as fans in high places such as Chloe Grace Moretz, Marla Catherine, Shallou, and TheLazyLazyMe. Plays have come from BBC Radio 1 and 6, as well as local BBC Introducing across London, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Norfolk, and substantial blog and magazine coverage from EARMILK, Clash, Thought Catalog, and Line of Best Fit to name a few. The band have played festivals such as Norwich Sound & Vision alongside Public Service Broadcasting and Laurel, as well as numerous London venues, where they supported CHVRCHES.
