With his dark sultry vocals, captivating storytelling, and catchy rhythms, Sydny Dre is a fast-rising singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music producer from Nigeria telling his story and sharing his perspective with the world through relatable music. Armed with poetic lyricism and a sexy, chill sound that complements his personality, his unique blend of afro-fusion born from his afro-percussive roots as a child-drummer and teenage enthusiasm for Hip-hop and R&B, is unlike any other that exists or has existed before. He is definitely an artist to watch out for as he leaves memorable impressions on his listeners in every song. His piqued interest in music instruments and music production led him to making beats, and that later became the foundation of his sonic identity, and then entry into Chocolate City Music as a music producer in 2017. Following a narrative twitter thread in 2019, he got nationwide recognition on social media as "The Bus Musician", for serenading passengers on a Lagos bus with his acoustic guitar and spontaneous freestyles. However, he remained underground polishing his craft until he was ready to launch out again in 2022 with his debut single - Roll It, which went on to be majorly streamed internationally in countries like the US, UK, Germany, Canada, and many more. When he is not writing or producing his own music, he produces and engineers music for other artists as well, including Naya Akanji, David Garland, OraeTheGreat, Manne, and others.
