Alexis Troy’s productions are very much more than just music, they verge on mind-bending, cinematic productions. “I basically aim for the sounds to conjure cinematic images”, commented Alexis about his work. “Blade Runner“, “Ghost in the Shell“ and “Pi (System in Chaos)” are films that spring to mind when you hear the tracks. The breadth of his work goes from artfully broken Future-R&B sounds to sweaty Reggaeton-beats, surging Afro-Trap, all the way through to club compatible House vibes. “I love organic-technology”, confirms the 34 year old, who swears by a magic ingredient. “The beats are not ultra precise, but shuffle around a bit. They wobble. That‘s perhaps not the best word, but it describes it pretty well.“
