Biyografi
Makan Ashgvari is a musician, singer and songwriter based in Tehran, Iran. He is known for his albums "To Trucks", "Ba'd Boro" and "Far". And also his collaborations with Bomrani, Pallet, King Raam, Kamakan, Christophe Rezaei, Daal Band, Hamze Yegane, Sardar Sarmast, Ali Phi and Arshid Azarine. He appeared on the album "The Shore of Tehran" as a jazz singer, in a collaboration with Naima band, and as an electronic musician in his own albums "18" and "To Trucks". His flexibility and variety of genre has made him a unique performer in the music scene of Iran. There is a dramatic angle to his solo performances, influenced by Nina Simone, Nick Cave, Tom Waits... and his inspiration of Iranian ceremonies and rituals. His album "To Trucks" contains recordings of his travelings in Iran, transformed by his taste in electronic music. Many people danced to his music "Ahvaz" in Iran and abroad.
