Somewhere, in between dreams.... Aythis is the solo project of Carline Van Roos, (songwriter/singer for the metal bands 'Lethian Dreams' and 'Remembrance') Aythis came to light in 2006 , creating an alchemy of lush keyboards atmospheres, haunting, hypnotic melodies and ethereal voice. In 2007, Aythis catches the interest of the English label Paradigms Recordings that releases Aythis' debut CD, DOPPELGÄNGER. Doppelgänger recieved very good and motivating feedbacks from the listeners. "Glacia", the second album of Aythis, turns to be more orchestral, more professional, without losing the intimist, sad, nostalgic feeling that represents Aythis. "Glacia" paints a picture of wintry, icy and desolated landscapes. Aythis signs with the french label Prikosnovénie which releases "Glacia" in March 2009. The third album « The New Earth » was written between 2010 and 2011. Aythis signed a deal with the label Twilight Records (Jarboe, Frozen Autumn, In my Rosary...) to release the new album. In November 2014, the recording of following album, THE ILLUSION AND THE TWIN begins. 3 songs from ILLUSION AND THE TWIN got featured in 2 movies :"Yesterday's Girl" and " The Chain".
