Nathan Johnson, as Meaning Machine, has been recognized globally for his introspective instrumental genius. Four years ago, in the midst of creating a new record, his life changed forever when his wife passed away after the birth of their new baby girl. This year, after recognizing that the music was intertwined with an incredible array of emotions surrounding those events, he finally finished the record, 'Memory', sensing that it was time to introduce it to the world. Mixing vintage synths, ambient guitar, electronic beats, and a host of otherworldly sounds, the songs reflect the journey of someone who has seen the highest highs and lowest lows and is still working out the questions that come along the way.
