Change is a force of nature. When folk singer and historical multi-instrumentalist Kati Rán embarked on her a musical career, it was so that a new, primal vision could emerge, unbound by conventional song structure, she weaves topics of nature, ancient mythology and history together in a folkloric sound tapestry where intuition and the elemental meet. Kati Rán is a Dutch audio producer, lyricist, vocalist and historic multi-instrumentalist. As a performer on historical, nordic, ethnic and medieval instruments since the early 2000's she is considered a genre pioneer in modern popular nordic- and pagan- folkmusic. According to Kati Rán 'Music is a reminder that we are part of nature and can be considered as one of the strongest ways to communicate with one another on a deeply intimate and personal level. Music can transmit universal emotions and a connection to divine wisdom that reverberates through all Era's. Therefore, music may cause the listener to wake up and see the beauty of the dream called Life'.
