We are a group of creatives from Monterey Church who make music to glorify God because we love Him. "We believe in pursuing God's presence above all else; more than lights and sound, more than emotions and performance, we desire to experience His real and life-changing love every day." - Jedidiah Horca (Worship Pastor) Monterey Music's (formerly Alvarado Music Collective) debut album Live at 401 released in 2015 when a small group of friends came together for a night of singing and worship. That album launched the beginning of Monterey Music. In 2017, they released a soulful acoustic album called Window Sessions featuring the song Reckless Love. In May 2018, Monterey Music released its first ever full-length original album Battlegrounds, full of fresh language and an energy that connects people to God! Monterey Music released the LIVE album "Higher Still" in November 2018. This album was captured from a powerful night of worship at Monterey Church. It's full of extended and spontaneous times of worship including the ballad How Great a King. "Sundays Volume I" is a collection of some of our most memorable worship moments. A powerful anthem of hope and worship. 2020's "There Is Joy" speaks boldly into areas of doubt, uncertainty, and chaos. It reminds us that we can find JOY in the middle of our circumstances! Monterey Music is celebrating the brand new release of "Sundays: Volume II", which is a collection of the top live worship moments of the year.
