thin air is the experimental indie project of Brandon McKie. It blends elements of Shoegaze, Emo, Drone, Post-Rock and Dream Pop while retaining a lyrical focus. 
 Continuing in the electric direction explored on Hello Hollow 2022’s Double LP All Revolve All Dissolve twists and turns through hypnotic soundscapes, twinkling melodies and cacophonous crescendos all ornamented by vivid lyricism and sincere vocals. This record captures the sounds of thin air as a full band thanks to the contributions of Max Engel on Drums and Similar Alien on Bass. 
 2018’s Isn’t Real is a more acoustic and orchestral effort with each song highlighting different instruments and the epic closer featuring a dozen musicians and over 100 individual tracks. Notable collaborators include Foreignlocal. and Aman Cowell 
 Debut Album Dreams of a Wake was recorded entirely on an iPhone 4 and was mixed and arranged in Audacity. 
 thin air has shared the stage with many incredible artists including awakebutstillinbed , Floral Tattoo , Valley Taylor, Clementine Was Right and Hello, I'm Sorry 
 A 5th full length album is on the way this fall
