Nia Purpose is a Christian singer-songwriter. “Nia” is a Swahili name meaning “purpose”. Her music contains relevant messages that resonate with the soul and encourage all to serve God with purpose in spite of personal imperfections. Nia Purpose grew up singing and listening to a cappella at worship services in her home congregation and at a cappella concerts around the Carolinas. She naturally developed a love for a cappella music, an ear for harmony and blending, and a gift for creating a cappella arrangements. As an artist, she combines a unique blend of vocal styles to create a fun and fresh a cappella sound stacked with harmonies and rich bass.   In addition to singing and songwriting, Nia Purpose speaks at women’s and youth events and orchestrates events for young adults to be educated and inspired to pursue their purpose.
