Maaya started her journey in music with Indian Classical Vocals and has been singing since she was three. At ten years of age, she made a switch to Western music by learning the keyboard. Soon enough, Maaya developed an increasing interest in Western vocals. In the years that followed, she picked up the guitar, ukulele and more. Her interests include Neo-Soul, classic Rock, Jazz-Funk, and Fusion however, she finds herself making acoustic-driven R&B music in the recent years. Inspired by artists like Stevie Wonder, Lianne La Havas, and Yebba, Maaya strives to keep making music for the soul. With more music lined up for the year, Maaya hopes you’ll find a home every step of the way in the music she shares with you.
