22 years old born and raised in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan. BANA was launched into superstardom in 2017 when she auditioned for the first season of Kurd Idol at the age of 16, becoming a breakout star overnight cementing her as the youngest artist in the region. After her success on the show BANA wrote and produced her own music with singles such as ‘Bochi’ and ‘Amawet’ alongside her debut kurdish album ‘Diway Salêk’ becoming nationwide favourites establishing her place within the kurdish music industry. What’s next? BANA is taking her artistry further debuting English spoken songs all of which reflect her individuality and journey so far in life. With her debut single ‘Tangy’ a summer feel good track with infectious melodies this marks BANA’s introduction to the western music scene which is the first of many english records to come.
