WITCHUNTER is an Heavy Metal band founded in 2007 by the guitarist Ace Iustini. Obsessively influenced by N.W.O.B.H.M., ‘80s European Heavy-Speed Metal and deeply rooted in the ‘70s Hard Rock sound and attitude, WITCHUNTER released their first homonymous self-produced demo CD in 2008. The demo was re-released, as part of the so called “Defenders of the Past” split LP released by HEAVY FORCE RECORDS. In 2010 focused on the creation of their first full-length album “Crystal Demons” which was released in CD format by MY GRAVEYARD PRODUCTION and in vinyl format by HIGH ROLLER RECORDS Following the album’s favourable outcome, in 2011 they joined the “European Speed Metal Blasphemies” Tour together with BAPHOMET’S BLOOD and KETZER. In the same year, a live-recorded 7” called “Alive in Europe” was released by BLASPHEMOUS ART RECORDS. WITCHUNTER proved their quality as live act by supporting cult metal bands and after a few years of studio-recording inactivity, they came back in 2016 with their second album “Back on the Hunt” that was released in CD and vinyl format by BLASPHEMOUS ART RECORDS as well as the release of the first professional video clip of “Lucifer’s Blade” song. In 2018, WITCHUNTER worked on a new release together with BLACKEVIL, as part of the so called “Witchevil Attack!” split LP. The same year the bands joined the “Witchevil Attack! European Tour”. Currently WITCHUNTER are working on the writing of the third full length, release expected in 2020.
