Mahalia Buchanan began her professional journey only at the age of 13, born in Johannesburg South Africa. She entered the South African music industry at 15yrs, serving and sharing the stage with established South African artists. However, her career blossomed immensely when she joined the internationally renowned Joyous Celebration as singer and songwriter and went on to become a pivotal member of Joyous. Her pioneering solo career launched in 2015 when she released her debut album, She has circumnavigated the globe, performing in front of millions of people across Africa, Europe and the USA. Awards: *Won Best Newcomer in the 2015 prestigious annual Crown Awards *Nominated in the 2016 SAMA Awards. Mahalia continues to present on her award winning television show called Destiny, which has a weekly viewing of 300,000 people and received ‘Best TV Show’ at the 2018 AGMMA Awards in the UK. The show is now in it's 4th season.
