Mixing hip-hop & R&B like Drake and YNW Melly merged into one, Isaiah Rivera, better know as LG Izz is taking the forefront of the music industry by storm. The year is 1996, Isaiah Rivera is born in the Bronx, NY yet quickly moved to Allentown, PA. When asked how his upbringing was LG says, “Life growing up was not the easiest but it could have been ten times worse compared to the kids down the block.” Being introduced to music through his father, LG was able to make music of his own, understanding that music would last a lifetime for everyone that would ever listen. His career looks promising having already opened up for Dave East, A Boogie, PNB Rock and a sold out PPL Center in Allentown, PA of over 9,000 people. When asked, how do you describe your style of music? LG says “Diverse. I am capable of creating so many different vibes, I can’t really own a “style” because I have many.” Starting at twelve years old he remembers recording music on his mother’s webcam and till this day if you search hard enough you could find the old LG tunes on YouTube. Fast forward a decade and LG Izz has amounted over 5 million views on YouTube with hits such as “What I Do” with almost 2 million Spotify streams respectively. It is safe to say he has shown his diversity with songs like “No Label”, “Be The One”, “Don’t Leave My Love”, "Sinning" and his latest single “Off The Block” which has been the fastest growing yet with over 300,000 views in less than two weeks.
