Jay R is a celebrated musician known as the Philippines King of R&B for his exceptional talent in making original music. He enjoys collaborating with like-minded individuals who share his passion for music. Born in Los Angeles California, Jay R began building his foundation in singing and music production at a young age. At 16 years old he was a lead singer in a band called the Howlers where he performed alongside his sister Jhing under the leadership of their uncle Bob. He was also part of a 5-piece boy band called First Impression, which introduced him to music production. After a few years, Jay R pursued a solo career and moved to the Manila to entertain a record deal & a TV deal. His debut album Gameface achieved double platinum status, earning him the title of King of R&B by his fans. His Soul In Love album went platinum while both his OPM Love Classics and Elevated albums were certified gold and are still available on Spotify. Jay R has also landed numerous product endorsements, including Colgate, Tropicana, Sun Cellular, Techno Marine, Bench, Unisilver, and Kaspersky.
