More than half a century and Los Bravos are still going strong, inducting Bruce Game as the new frontman in summer 2019, they are releasing a new album. The first single "Gotta Be Strong" is written and produced by the band during the lockdown period . The second single "Chariot" got released for Christmas in Dec 2020. Their first release in 2021 is the Live version of the classic "Black is Black" performed by the band a year before in Jan 2020 followed by two more releases dedicated to Manolo and Tony, the founding keyboard player and the guitarist of the band, who passed away. "I Can't Get Enough" and "Tony's eyes” Los Bravos featured on the first trailer of One Upon A Time In Hollywood by Tarantino in 2019 with their 1966 hit single "Bring a little loving". In 1966, this Spanish quintet became one of the very few rock groups from a non-English speaking country to have an international smash with "Black Is Black," which got to number four in the U.S. and number two in the U.K. Indeed, with their brassy pop/rock songs and production, which sounded about halfway between New York mid-'60s pop-soul and Jay & the Americans, Los Bravos sounded far more like a mainstream American pop/rock group than a Spanish or British one. Most of their records were sung in English, and although they never made the American Top 20 again, they were far more popular in Europe, even placing another single in the British Top 20 in late 1966 with "I Don't Care." ~ Richie Unterberger
