Biyografi
Five years after reaching the semi-finals of Idol Colombia, this Latin pop artist and songwriter incorporated R&B, trap, and reggaetón into her major-label solo material. Born in 1997, in Barranquilla, Colombia, Aria Vega attended Marymount School, and impressed the audience of a school play with her vocal abilities as early as the age of six. In her teens, she became a student of music, specifically focusing on vocal techniques and theory. After progressing to the latter stages of Idol Columbia at age 17, she returned to Barranquilla to study social work and ended up joining a local band. By 2019, she'd decided to embark on a solo career, releasing her debut single, "Fuego en la Pista," to a relatively muted response in the February. That same month, she covered "Shallow" -- from the popular A Star Is Born remake -- alongside Madeiro, and the duet was uploaded online. Before the year was out, she'd signed a solo deal with Warner Music and continued to upload choice duets. In February of 2020 she collaborated with Alejandro Santamaria on a version of Mau y Ricky's "La Boca." September brought her debut EP, Nivel 1_Elevar (translating as Level 1: Elevate). The lead track, "Rosé," featured production by the established electronic artist Tezzel, aka Mateo Cano, and was mixed by the Latin Grammy-winning Mosty. ~ James Wilkinson, Rovi
