Cáthia is a Salvadoran American artist determined to help push the latin genre forward by showcasing the different dimensions of the culture, and the magic that happens when representation is championed. Singing from a very young age and touring alongside artists like Prince Royce, Luis Fonsi and Jennifer Lopez, her musical journey has taken her to several worldwide stages. Rooted in an array of rhythmic contemporary elements and centered around strong vocals, Cáthia’s approach to creating latin pop music reimagines the possibilities and pushes a new sound to market. Born and raised in New York City, she fuses her Salvadoran heritage with Spanglish nuances to create a unique sound. On her latest single ‘Casas de Papel,’ she explores interesting intersections of vocal melodies with edgy synths that bring to life emotional resilience.
