My name is Ajayi Fredrick, I am from Kwara State, but raised in Lagos State, Nigeria. I am popularly known as Jayfred, I am Music Artist and Record Producer with an undying passion for music. I have been making music since I was 17 years old back then in church, then I started with piano, bass/acoustic guitar, sax. I am popularly known as “the beat wizard”, because of my creativity and amazing use of musical instruments to make good sounds. I have worked with a lot of Industry giants in Nigeria like Ceeza Milli, Starboy Terri, Lyta, Skales, Seyi Vibez, Victor AD, Baloranking, BhadBoi OML & Ramadel. I also worked with Wizkid, an Afrobeat giant on a project. I was part of the production of the smash hit single titled “Maserati” by Olakira, a song that has gathered millions of streams on all digital platforms. I worked on eight out of twelve tracks on Henry Adams’ Bout time album, especially on the two smash hit tracks on the album – “Rest Assured” ft Jaywillz and “Hustle” featuring Tdollar. Bout Time album has gathered over 3 million streams on all digital platforms. Recently, I have been trying to strike a balance between singing and beat making. I released a romantic song, “Abeni”, which I produced, mixed and mastered. “Abeni” got a lot of receptions by my fans, and gathered hundreds of thousands of streams. My latest song, “Carry On” featuring Bhadboi OML is also getting a lot of attention and was about to make it to Spotify editorial playlists.
