Fin and Fil is an independent soulful pop/rap/rnb duo from Finland consisted of Hannu Nyman and Niño Vasquez. They are known for their openness for different cultures and write music in English, Bisaya, Tagalog and Finnish. 
 Fin and Fil was founded in 2015 when Nyman and Vasquez met in Tapiolan lukio music high school. They started writing songs in English inspired by influential artists such as Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder and Jon Bellion. Rap also plays a huge role in Vasquez's and Nyman's lives. 
 Love, personal problems and social pressures played a huge role in their first songs, ever since they knew exactly what path they wanted to pursue. 
 In 2019, since F&F didn't get much of attention in the early stages, Niño Vasquez, the lead singer of Fin and Fil, proposed an idea to write songs in Bisaya to try something new. Fin and Fil felt that they had more to offer to the Visayan music. 
 In 2020, Fin and Fil dropped a Bisaya single titled "puydi ba" and since then their listeners grew exponentially. A month after releasing puydi ba they dropped another single called "safe&warm" which gained even more attention not only in the Philippines but also globally. After releasing puydi ba and safe&warm, Fin and Fil became one of the most essential artists in Vispop (visayan pop music.) 
 In 2021, Fin and Fil dropped their self-produced debut album of eight songs called "suba" that speaks about love, school, life, mental issues and tons of questions.
