EEVEE was formed in 2009 by Enzo Villegas (Vocals, Guitars) and Paolo Segura (Guitars). The band emerged as Nescafe 3-in-1 Soundskool 2009 champion. Originally from Davao City, they moved to Manila and included G Garcia (Bass) & Patrick Anchinges (Drums) on their current lineup. Eevee has recently released the song "Huwag Lang Ikaw" - a song that paints a picture of a failing relationship, starting from lack of communication, “ghosting,” and eventually leading to a painful breakup. The band has appeared in TV shows such as Eat Bulaga and It's Showtime. The band's debut album in 2010, "Paramdam", with hits such as "Gusto Ko Lang Ng Girlfriend", "Waiter", and "Larawan", was produced by Eraserheads' Buddy Zabala, and Sancho Sanchez. This was followed by "Playtime EP", which included "Ang Sarap Maging Single" and "Hassle". RX 93.1 hailed Eevee as the OPM Band of the year in 2011. The band sings songs of telling stories of love hoped, gained and lost, being young, rebellious, and also the camaraderie between friends. Their songs are honest by nature, of real-life experiences of the band and the people around them. As per FHM Philippines, Eevee's music is a mix of jangly guitar tracks with frank, ingenious wordplay, perfectly riding bass, and drums that induce contagious foot tapping while in love, hoping to be, or happily out of it.
