Umami Tsunami is a music collective established in the summer of 2022 with songwriters, vocalists, producers, and professionals who work with design, and visual expression. The project aims to bring together the best possible creative forces to create new music influenced by the merging of pop music from the West and the East. After the release of the debut single, “Delicious (Oh Wow!), in October 2022, Umami Tsunami is back with a new single: “Geronimo”. “Geronimo” was one of the 9 finalists in the Melodi Grand Prix 2023 - the Norwegian National Selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2023. Three young artists talents are feature vocalists on “Geronimo”: Kyle Alessandro(16) from Steinkjær in Trøndelag, Kristian Haux (20) from Åmli, Sørlandet, and Magnus Winjum (17) from Lillestrøm, Østlandet. For some, this will be their first meeting with the three vocalists, but many know them already from their solo careers.
