Rising star July Jones is set to release her new single ‘Majesty’ on April 14, 2023. The highly anticipated track showcases Jones' signature style of combining powerful vocals with emotive and introspective lyrics. ‘Majesty’ is a hauntingly beautiful ballad that showcases Jones' vocal range and songwriting skills. The track features ethereal instrumentals, which add to the dreamy and atmospheric vibe of the song. Jones aims to break into the new wave of the pop genre with ethereal instrumentals and a dreamy and atmospheric vibe. This is complemented with lyrics that explore themes of love, loss, and the journey of self-discovery. The song is also a celebration of queer bodies. Jones Comments “I think as we are growing as a society, and queerness is becoming more and more normal, we see a lot of more beautiful trans bodies and nonbinary bodies out in the world. I wrote this song about my partner at the time, as a celebration of their body.” ‘Majesty’ is a look into her mixtape ‘Silly Little Dream Part 2’, "I'm thrilled to finally share 'Majesty' with my fans," says Jones. “I'm aiming to challenge the norm of pop music. I have been a writer behind a lot of artists and as a female artist and writer especially we tend to follow a very normal pop structure in writing, my whole aim with this project is to stay away from traditional structure and try something new, push the boundaries of pop.”
