Albert Fish is one of the oldest Portuguese punk-rock bands in active. They started in 1995 and count with three full lengths albums of original songs. In addition, the band have dozens of other editions (EP’s, Singles and various Splits) some of which with some renowned worldwide punk bands, such as the Italians «Klasse Kriminale» or the Brazilians «Garotos Podres», and with icon bands of the Portuguese punk rock scene such as «Peste & Sida» or «Crise Total». They have also participated in various compilations with bands from all over the world. They’ve hundreds of concerts under their belts, including an Iberian tour with the English band «Varukers», two European tours and a tour in Brazil with the mythical band «Garotos Podres». They’ve shared a stage with bands such as «Zounds», «The Casualties», «Los Fastidios», «No Fun At All», «Klasse Kriminale», «Lagwagon», and others. These Lisbon-based guys have had many remarkable episodes and are on their way to 25 years of uninterrupted history. Albert Fish is also referenced as a relevant band in some video documentaries and books about the punk scene in Portugal. Always with the focus of transmitting a political and social message through music, D.I.Y. and P.M.A. attitude driven, Albert Fish is still here, alive and well, to rock off the underground punk-hardcore scene for who knows how many more years.
