Dave Tolliver 1/2 of the platinum RnB group Men At Large. After an early start in broadcasting Dave and Jason were discovered by the late great Gerald Levert. After their first 2 albums they would separate. Dave found a new partner and moved on but kept his dreams alive with his solo efforts you see here and all digital platforms. His single “Home” peaked at #4 on the billboard singles sales chart, then others received critical acclaim and kept him working on tours group and solo wise. Tolliver has deemed himself the “Blaq Pavarotti” and has toured with some of music and televisions biggest names. Clifton Powell, Johnny Gill, Bernadette Stanis, Sean,Eddie,and Gerald Levert. The list of the things that Dave does or has done is long in his humble way m, he sometimes forgets to mention them. Dave is a musician, actor, broadcast journalist, news and magazine writer, vocal coach, label exec, philanthropist, author, and life coach. Throughout his life he has been chosen to be the pillar of strength and go to guy for everyone in and outside of his circle and is determined to keep winning and won’t stop. Life has thrown many curve balls but Dave has persevered and continues to walk by faith he sees that as the only way to survive. Positivity and a dope circle keep him going and now after 24 years he and Champion are teaming back up to their old tricks. Being guided by hit maker Jayshawn Champion they are destined to shock all, but for now enjoy the “Blaq Pavarotti”.
