Arthur Wimble is an Australian artist and producer, heralded for his dynamic and emotionally colored take on antipodean electronic dance music. His music is all at once self-destructive and blooming. Using artificial sounds and warm, rhythmic language as a counterpoint, Arthur spins a complex soundboard that has all the markings of an exciting new talent. Arthur Wimble uploaded the track ‘I Love My Love’, to Triple J Unearthed late in 2015 to small acclaim. The song garnered glowing reviews and features from Australia’s blogosphere, including the likes of Pilerats, and Purple Sneakers, amongst others. Teef Records took an interest in the enigma of Arthur Wimble, in turn signing the artist, releasing three singles include ‘I Love My Love’, ‘Hearts’, and ‘It Breaks’. What followed was the culmination of Wimble’s unique sensibilities into the EP, ‘Hearts’ (2016). With over a million collective plays on Spotify, an exclusive re-release through the international label Kitsune, and feature artist spots on the likes of Triple J and Indie Shuffle, Arthur Wimble continues to grow. After a series of successful single releases, including ‘Miss You’ (2018), that has amassed over 1 Million streams to date, and features in HBO's Search Party and ABC's 'The Fix', Arthur Wimble returns with a contemplative and heartfelt follow-up that he describes as “a calm, yet an intense insight to modern heartbreak’, due to release in April 2021.
