Gianni Canetti is a 22 year old artist from Liverpool. He started to develop his love for music at just five years old, picking up piano and guitar. Seventeen years later, the singer blends alternative pop tones with dark vocals, crafting records start to finish from his bedroom-turned studio. 
 Gianni signed a deal with Berlin outfit MagMusik in early 2021, and released his debut single 'Freakout' in February. He received support from industry-leading tastemakers such as CloudKid and MrSuicideSheep, as well as recognition from Polydor A&R Alexander Kralisch on his podcast popformat. The lead single of his debut EP, 'My Devil', lands 3rd December on MagMusik. ‘My Devil’ is about selling my soul to the devil and dragging others down to hell with me, cos why not? The devil can be a metaphor for lots of things like internal conflict and how our own struggles and behaviour can affect those close to us. I tried to portray the idea of a devil in a fun and playful way, but it can have a different meaning; that’s up to the listener. ‘life’s a journey I think I’m destined for hell, if you’re not careful you might end up there as well’ This line sums it up pretty well...
