Petra Berger’s voice and music are not comprised by one single genre, and that is exactly what renders her so special and unique as a singer. Her three octave range allows her to be just as agile in the classical domain as in the world of pop music. Not only is this vocal mastery apparent from her successful CDs, but also in a live concert setting does she impress and stir emotion by virtue of her angelic voice and personality. Additionally, Petra has collaborated extensively with renowned national and international orchestras and has sung duets with global superstars like Andrea Bocelli and Alessandro Safina. Between 2001 and 2008 she released three remarkable crossover albums. Her first album became a certified gold record, after it went on to become a platinum record shortly thereafter. Her success was not left unnoticed abroad either; Petra’s refreshing and renewing musical style proves to be the key for her breakthrough in several countries. Within the Netherlands, Petra has been touring every year since 2003. 2011 marks the point in time at which a long-cherished wish is realized. Petra releases the album Touched by Streisand, which commemorates the most beautiful Streisand songs. In March 2019 Petra releases her album Passione, which features only Italian music and tastefully blends elements from rock, pop, and classical music.
