Biyografi
Eddy Braveaux has been making music since 2005, but his profile has increased dramatically in recent years. Born Edward Ebri. Braveaux brings a diverse background and a variety of interests into his chosen field. The son of Nigerian immigrants, he represents the first generation of his family to be born here in the United States. Braveaux’s built a reputation for versatility, while proving himself proficient in virtually all aspects of the production process, from recording to engineering to designing artwork. His style falls under the label of “Dream Trap”. It is an aggressive, high-intensity approach to trip hop, heavily influenced by martial arts and video games. His music is built around dense beats and sly, incisive wordplay, but it’s laced from tip to tip with a smooth sensuality that makes his music ideal for virtually any setting or situation. Braveaux was featured in The Fader in 2016, and he was named Artist of the Year by Mieux Magazine the year before. Throughout his career, Braveaux has worked mostly as a self-contained creative entity, but he has branched out for occasional features and collaborations, most notably on “Ch. 1: Night Vision” by DoLA. He’s released videos for his singles “Final Boss” (2019) and “Leap of Faith” (2020), both of which were directed by Desmond Cook. Most recently, he’s released the “PROTOTYPE” EP, produced by ghostNghoul, which is now available across a variety of streaming platforms.
