DEFOCUS is a Modern Metalcore band from Aalen/ Stuttgart founded in 2019. After they showed their massive live expression, DEFOCUS used the pandemic downtime to write and record their debut album “IN THE EYE OF DEATH WE ARE ALL THE SAME” which they released via ARISING EMPIRE. After releasing their first album in July 2021 and having commercially successful songs such as “DISEASE”, the young band was able to play at various festivals including the established Euroblast Festival in Cologne. In 2022 DEFOCUS enjoyed an almost unrestricted festival summer, playing at the biggest independent metal festival in Europe at the Summer Breeze Open Air, as well as other festivals and clubs throughout Germany. DEFOCUS is just getting started: Their first tour, set to kick off in April 2023, will take them through four European countries in nine days, along fellow metal heavyweights Necrotted and Abbie Falls. With new heavy tunes on the horizon, there´s no telling what kind of destruction DEFOCUS will unleash on the metal world next. One thing´s for sure: you won´t want to miss it.
