Blazey was born into a single-parent-household in a small town near Munich. At an early age, Blazey displayed immense creativity and a love for the arts. Blazey would start writing his first songs as early as 11 years old. Before becoming the flashy artists that is Blazey today, the young singer underwent an illustrious journey of singing gigs. He landed his first radio hit under the moniker “Millé”. “All Good”, as well as his single “Away” amassed over 5 million streams on Spotify alone. While his stints as Millé were highly successful, it wasn’t until Blazey became Blazey, that he had found his true calling. Having moved from Munich and started over in Berlin, his final form was born in 2021 and with it came the single “Never Go Back”. The song describes how he never wants to find himself again stuck in social conventions. Through the vibrant queer and black scene of Berlin, the Afro-german artist had rediscovered his Afropop roots and also found a language to express his romantic desires in music form. In 2022 Blazey independently released his debut album KWAME. Quickly he became one of the most exciting and hypnotic live performers, known in all of Europe’s queer scene for his electric performance style and flamboyantly infectious songs. KWAME was a warm up, the foundation of a transformation, his upcoming project ROSES OF ROMANCE, an unapologetic blend of queer power and western inspired Afro-Pop, slated for 2023, aims to take over the world.
