The Les Gordon project emerged in 2013. Marc Mifune, the true name of this artist from Rennes (France), started on the scene of the Transmusicale, as the opening act of Stromae. With « Saisons », his first EP, Les Gordon reaches a first significant step and signed with the touring agent Allo Floride. From there, he rapidly expanded: Marc Mifune played for Madéon at the Trianon, and performed the opening act during the national tour of Fauve. The same year, Les Gordon produced a novel EP, entitled « Les Cheveux Longs », which reached 100 000 views on Soundcloud in a few weeks. Following « Season », the EPs « Abyss » and « Atlas » were then released by the Kitsuné label in 2016. In 2018, Les Gordon released his first album, « LA », with Sony Arista, which reached several millions streams, as exemplified by the single « Lantern », unanimously praised. A musical signature was forged over the sampling of cut voices, melancholic guitars, and sharp beats. He has been influenced by the alternative music scene from England, from Radiohead to Gold Panda, Four Tet, Boards of Canada, and via other artists such as Nils Frahms, Òlafur Arnalds, or Kiasmos. Les Gordon is also a talented producer as a beat-maker, as exemplified with the single « Écrire », composed with Diabi for the rap artist Nekfeu, as well as « Lundi Méchant », produced with Guillaume Poncelet, single eponym to the last album from Gaël Faye.
