The 27 year old New York City native Westend has solidified his spot as a must watch in the highly competitive tech-house scene. Having attended synth inventor Robert Moog’s alma mater in The Bronx, Tyler Morris developed a fascination with electronic music and production during his teenage years. The name Westend came from the beloved side of the city that cultivated his musical upbringing. Much like the city that shaped him, Westend's work can be found at the cross-streets of driving basslines, polished vocals, and crisp, methodical production. 
 2021 has been a career defining year for Westend. He started the year with a fresh take of Musique’s disco anthem ‘Keep on Jumpin’ with fellow NYC producer CID. Released on Lee Foss’s established Repopulate Mars, the tune peaked at #2 on Beatport’s overall charts for over 4 weeks and has passed 4 million Spotify streams. Westend followed up with his single “Get This Party Started” on the legendary Glasgow Underground which peaked at #2 overall on Beatport and stayed in the top 10 for over 3 months. He currently ranks in as the 6th best selling tech house artist and 10th overall over the last year on Beatport.
