<div>They shaped the German music scene from the middle of the nineties until the turn of the millennium, enriching it with their innovative crossover of hard metal with poppy melodies and choruses. After a creative break, the three band founding members Matthias Sayer (vocals), Alex Scholpp (guitar) and Ralf Botzenhart (bass) together with two newcomers Timm Schreiner (drums) and Richard Düe (keyboards) returned to the scene in 2017, announcing shortly afterwards that they had signed a contract with Nuclear Blast’s subsidiary Arising Empire. In 2018 the FARMER BOYS have completely returned to us from their Rock‘n‘Roll nirvana, to play live on stage; to rise again and to make this year their most successful yet. Since their very first successful club tour with sold out shows, the future has seemed ever more promising. <br></div><div>In the 90s the band went down in international music history; major labels, some of the world’s biggest festivals, Vans Warped Tour USA, tours with RAMMSTEIN, DEFTONES and METALLICA. It feels like they conquered the world. Yet today the FARMER BOYS still don’t let anyone confine them to the limits of genre. They blow away all of those questions with their explosive mix and their big sonic statements. The initial announcement about the return of the FARMER BOYS came closely followed by a tremendous response, which more than impressed the band. With their new album »Born Again«, the FARMER BOYS return in a mature and convincing fashion. </div>
