25 year old, So-Cal based singer-songwriter Lauren Preuss, has a love for creating music that is emotionally relatable without the confines of conformity to the current generic indie landscape. Lauren loves leaning into experimental, yet palpable sounds and melodies. 
 Raised by an acclaimed jazz vocalist mother and surrounded by musicians and fellow songwriters in the church, Lauren grew to love the process of writing and creating. In the summer of 2018, after realizing there was a need for financial backing for a trip, Lauren and some friends decided to create, release and sell some original songs. Without any expectations beyond raising the funds, some of these original songs gained traction, eventually amassing over a million streams. There was an overwhelming response from the release and a newfound joy that came with the process of creating authentic music.
