“I want to do for New England culture, what The Beach Boys did for California culture.” 
 Elizabeth Gerardi was born and raised in the Ocean State (Rhode Island) and using her musical talents, she is romanticizing New England, one song at a time. 
 Through lyrical nods, her images, and branding, she’s glamorizing the East Coast, which often gets overlooked, similar to how the Beach Boys idealized Californ-I-A. 
 “It worked so well for the Beach Boys because it was authentic. They were from California and truly loved that lifestyle. For me, growing up in New England played a huge role in making me who I am, it’s basically my biggest personality trait at this point.”
