Friends who shared the same passion. Music that was waiting to happen. Finding Apollo was officially formed in 2012, with the original members Elmer (Vocals), Ricky (Drums), Karl (Guitars), Franz (Guitars) and Cheche (Bass). This small rock group started with performing their own renditions to some of the iconic songs of the indie band Mae. Their early days were not without a hitch. Because some of the members were also from other bands playing different genres, putting Finding Apollo’s own music together was set on the back burner for a while. Eventually, after months of deliberation and perfecting their craft, “Mercury,” their first brainchild, was released, with its lyric video uploaded on YouTube. The single was met with high praise and thousands of likes from viewers. This, in turn, inspired the band to continue creating music with their own distinct sound. Fast forward one year and they followed it with “Venus,” accompanied with a music video featuring the members themselves. From then on, they kept on rolling and experimenting; marking their way into the heart of the music scene. With the addition of their new bassist, Rustey, a new sound is expected to be heard from these folks. This 2020, supporters will join Finding Apollo as they take flight on a quest higher than the stars.
