Hailing from the Mid Coast of NSW, Jake Davey, 25, has an unquenchable thirst for creativity. Whilst a versatile artist, he has also been able to adapt as a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, videographer and mixing engineer. He has been booked and performed at festivals such as Savannah in The Round, Tamworth Country Music Festival, and Country at the Beach. Jake draws from influences such as Old Dominion, Dan + Shay, and Morgan Evans, and has shaped himself into a musician who embraces a polished, modern country sound. In 2019, his debut original single On Your Mind was added to Spotify’s Country Chill playlist, followed by The Way She Does which made it to the Fresh Country playlist, with all singles featured on Apple Music's Country Lovin' and Aussie Country playlists. Since 2019, Jake has amassed just under 950k streams. 2021 was a year of writing and recording, collaborating, and strategising his next career move. Connecting with artists from across Australia as well as Canada and the US, he has emerged with a catalogue of original songs for the world to hear in 2022. With Toyota Star maker in his sights, there is little doubt you’ll be hearing a lot more from Jake Davey.
