Ted Yoder is the barefoot “Béla Fleck of the hammered dulcimer.” His music rocketed around the world in 2016 when his instrumental version of Everybody Wants to Rule the World went viral with over 100 million views. A father of 7 and married 25 years, Ted can't imagine making music without the support and encouragement of his family. "My family has given me so much and I love to find laughter and beauty in the ordinary." When his whole family survived a car accident in 2007, it caused Ted to rethink everything. “My dad died in a car accident when he was 54 and so I had to ask myself, if this was my last day on earth; have I shown my children how to chase their dreams, live without regret, and not let fear dictate what they do?’” So at the age of 35, he took the leap into a music career. Since then, Ted has won the title of 2010 National Hammered Dulcimer Champion, opened for Jake Shimabukuro, been featured on NPR radio and "drive time" Chicago WGN, and had a #1 new release ranking on Amazon. He's released 10 albums, played at Busch Gardens, traveled to a Brazilian island, and performed in 40 of the 50 states. "I have no regrets!" Ted exclaims. "No regrets at all".
