Tanboymiguel is an international new wave urban artist loosely based in New Zealand. Born Miguel Ricardo Uribe del Solar, migrating to New Zealand in his early teens coming from a criminal surrounding in Latin America to then growing up as an only child with a single mother. This childhood gave him a particular outlook on life finding himself relating to other Latin trap artists such as Yung Beef & Anuel AA as well as drawing influence from modern day pioneers of the trap scene including Speaker Knockerz, Yung Beef, Lil Tracy & Nav. A mix of all these diverse subgenres within Trap can be heard in Tanboymiguel’s music mixing english and spanish can only be described as new wave & not limited to one sound which makes his music so internationally appealing. 
 Tanboymiguel is gaining a lot of local traction in Australasia constantly circulating on radio stations in New Zealand & Australia but what is really turning heads in the industry right now is the fact Tanboymiguel has been doing sold out 10,000 pax capacity festivals across Asia as well as sold out shows in Australia/New Zealand opening for artists including Thaiboy Digital & Bow Wow. Not to mention consistently collaborating with artists from all the aforementioned countries really solidifying Tanboymiguel as an international underground hero.
