Gracyl Ropmay, the young lady best defined by her unique powerful voice and magnetic personality has already mesmerized crowds in various parts of India. She is, today, one of the most renowned singers/songwriters of Shillong, Meghalaya, having started her singing career at the age of 15 in 2002. Her debut performance was at the Miss Shillong Beauty Pageant in 2002. Over the years she has performed on various platforms all over India, having represented Meghalaya for many cultural and social events. The accolades for her unique talent have translated into awards such as 'The best vocalist of the year 2002,' in the Meghalaya Music awards; winner of the Karaoke World Championship 2012 ( East Zone) and winner of the North East Beat Contest(Solo), 2006. Being multi lingual, she has sung in many Khasi and Jaintia Albums, some of which are Mynsiem, Dei Maphi, Rikune, Makhane, Lynter ki Sngi, Lasyntem, Na Mynsien, Sahkhana etc. Brighter Days is her first single in English.
