Going by AUFWIE, half-Argentine, half-British singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Fabrizio Laceiras brings to life catchy, bittersweet indie pop melodies. With his self produced, evergrowing repertoire of songs, AUFWIE keeps earning people's hearts and great notoriety along the underground indie scene in Buenos Aires. 
 Growing up both in Buenos Aires and Sheffield and coming from a musical family, AUFWIE began playing drums at the age of 4 and switched to guitar and singing at the age of 13, when his first songs started to see the light. As years went by, he started to learn multiple instruments, and throughout his teenage years, he recorded music by himself in his bedroom, taking influence from a variety of artists from The Kooks to Smashing Pumpkins, along with some electronic music influences. In 2020, right in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, he self-released his self-titled debut EP, using his artistic name ''AUFWIE'' for the first time. Filled with bittersweet catchy lo-fi souding tracks like "Throw Me To The Sea" AUFWIE began picking up notoriety amid the blooming indie community around some metaverses such as Second Life or Meta's Horizon, being invited to several important venues and gigs in front of hundreds of people, making him not only one of the pioneer metaverse-based artist but also creating the first metaverse-based independent label ''Broken Toy Records''.
