"A lot of humans are caught up in trends. I created my own. KnowMads was a vision formed and actualized over the past 10 years. Making music that exposes your innermost thoughts is a risk. However, it was a risk that KnowMads global fan base has appreciated and reciprocated with diehard support. I am often taken aback by the messages from fans explaining how they felt our stories offered perspective that was transformative in their lives. Our albums directly reflect the moment in which they were recorded. Living a determined life and keeping our mind’s eye open to the world around us is what has made our music essential. I do other things besides rap, I am interested in other mediums of life expression, but rap has allowed me to tell my truth to thousands of people I have never met and I believe that is what has driven me to continue making hip hop music. It’s all love.”
