Australian Alternative-Metal group To Octavia blasted into 2021 with their revamped sound, releasing their second EP, ‘Somewhere in a World, Not of the Dream’ which brought them Triple J rotation and the pleasure of being a Triple J Unearthed Feature Artist, gaining high praise from members of the Triple J team. “What's the level above beast mode? Cos To Octavia just went there” (Dave Ruby Howe, Triple J). They have since been part of festivals such as Unify Gathering, Yours & Owls Fest (cancelled due to NSW floods), and Bigsound Festival, as well as supporting heavyweights such as Alpha Wolf, Thornhill, and Windwaker across Australia. They gained attention oceans away from their hometown from the team at SEGA, who reached out to vocalist, Merry, to have them perform vocals for the main theme of “Sonic Frontiers”. This year, the four-piece will amplify their experimental sound with new waves of rock and pop. Stay tuned for more music!
