    After studying and playing drums between Gothenburg and Los Angeles for almost eleven years, Maiwan left his drum kit behind and began producing electronic dance music on his own. He had already played in various bands over the course of those same years and felt it was time for something new. Maiwan currently owns a small studio deep down in the Swedish woods, with only a lake and trees providing him with company. He draws his biggest inspiration from the forest itself as well as the Internet in general, as he loves to dig deep to scout new music. His sound would best be described as melodic soft house sprinkled with a deep tropical touch. With over 11 Million streams under his name to date on Spotify alone, Maiwan continues to surprise with every new chapter he narrates through his music.
