Biyografi
St.Petersburg composer and pianist Gleb Kolyadin is one of the key heroes of the new Russian instrumental music. Combining classical piano education and impressive performing experience, he composes exquisite melodic music, which freely crosses the boundaries between modernism, neoclassical, minimalism, fusion-jazz and art-rock. This broad stylistic spectrum allows Kolyadin to lead diverse projects. In his solo project “poloniumcubes”, he explores the territories of subtle neoclassical and sensuous minimalism. As the member of Iamthemorning, he plays dreamy chamber music. Theatre music and multidisciplinary projects is a huge part of Kolyadin’s artistry - he wrote music for dozen of theatre productions. The first solo album Kolyadin released on Kscope label - major trendsetter of smart melodic music, releasing Tangerine Dream, Anathema, Steven Wilson. The album received glowing reviews in media, and was shortlisted for the Progressive Music Awards in two categories – Album of the Year and International Artist of the Year. It is essential for Kolyadin to look for new sounding, that is why he regularly releases piano sketches - kind of sonic moodboards - as part of his musical diary “poloniumcubes” in his social networks. The full-scale solo album “Water Movements”, which will be released on March 26, will feature his best piano pieces introducing his rich and diverse piano world. "The single greatest pianist I've ever met in my life" - Daniel Cavanagh (Anathema)
