    Who is Biricik ? She was born in 1957 as the daughter of Jazz drummer Burhaneddin Tonguç. She naturally received her musical education from her father and at home since the day she was born. She studied at Levent High School. She was reading rhythm notes even before she learned the alphabet. She listened to world-class jazz masters such as Shirley Bassey and Ella Fitzgerald, while she was taking classical guitar lessons from classical guitar master Raffi Arslanyan. After a long period of treatment processes due to a very serious illness of her father, Biricik found himself playing Percussion in Grup Metronome, which her father founded for Mine Koşan. And she met the Arabesque. In 1973, her professional music life began with the Dermansın Gel 45 record. Rumors spread that she disappeared or even died because she was not featured in the press. She's alive, and she's never left music.
